Block Annoying Numbers on Samsung
In general, the method used to block phone numbers in all Android devices is the same, while some options may be different in different brands. We decided to use a Samsung phone with Android 9.0 for this tutorial.
- Enter the user menu and open the Contacts program from the user menu and select the contact you want to block and click on the 3 vertical dots on their profile page.
- Now you have to click on the last option, Block Contact, among the 3 options that appear.
- Now at the bottom of the page, you will see a message asking you to make sure, and if you are sure, click on the Block option.
Note: This blocking method is the simplest and easiest possible way available. By blocking a phone number on Android, the text messages received from this number will also be blocked and you will not receive any notifications.
How to Block Text Messages on Android Phone
This is going to be quite simple and easy. In general, when a text message is sent to you from an unknown number, your phone will automatically block the number. But if your phone does not have this feature, take the following steps in order:
Enter the SMS program and select the number that is sending you the text messages, then select the 3 vertical dots from the top right.
A bar will open from the right side of the menu, the third option is to block the number, and if you want to block this number, click on this option.
You will receive a message asking you to confirm, and if you are confident enough, click on block. Now the number is blocked and can no longer call you or send you text messages.
Note: If you intend to remove the blocked number from the block list, the only difference would be that this time you need to unblock instead of block.
